Fake news Of Former Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan Got viral

 

On late Thursday night, rumors regarding the death of former Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan went viral. Around 11 p.m., the rumor begins whirling around. Also, without confirming some news channels made out Sumitra Mahajan’s death as breaking news.

In response to the above rumor Pankaj Kshirsagar, former OSD to Mahajan said: Sumitra Mahajan with fever is currently admitted to Bombay Hospital in Indore. “She is perfectly fine. Her routine tests were carried out today. She is relaxing”.

On Thursday night Shashi Tharoor, Congress Leader tweeted:

“Saddened to learn of the passing of former LokSabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan.”

“I remember many positive interactions with her, including when she &the late Sushma Swaraj asked me to lead a Parliamentary delegation to BRICS in MOSCOW. My condolences to her family &prayers: Om Shanti!”.

Especially in reaction to all this  Kailash Vijayvargiya, BJP General Secretary clarified on Twitter by saying Sumitra Mahajan is “absolutely fine”. Later Shashi Tharoor thanked him for giving clarification in this regard.
