67th National Film Awards- Winner list

The National Film Awards is one of the most decorated awards for the Indian film fraternity. It was started in 1954 by the Directorate of Film Festivals to acknowledge the cinematic achievements of Indian Cinema. The award is given by the President of India in New Delhi every year to the winning entry, selected by the National Panel appointed by the Government.

Mainly the awards are categorized under three sections; Feature Films, Non-Feature Films, and Best Writing on Cinema. In addition to the above-mentioned categories, a lifetime achievement award is awarded to a film personality. That has immensely contributed to the growth and development of Indian Cinema. Moreover, all the winners are awarded a Medallion, cash prize, and a certificate of merit.

This year the 67^th National Film Awards were given on 22^nd March 2021 at National Media Centre, New Delhi.  For films from the year 2019. The ceremony was supposed to be held in May last year but was delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
