Bharat Biotech announces COVAXIN prices- Rs. 600 for states, Rs. 1200 for private hospitals
On Saturday, Bharat Biotech announces COVAXIN will be available for the state government at Rs. 600 per dose and private hospitals at Rs. 1200 per dose. The company also stated that COVAXIN will also be exported and the price has been kept between $15-20 e.g. Rs. 1,123 to Rs. 1, 498 approximately.

The firm also mentioned that they are deeply concerned by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic in India & the world. They are honored to develop, manufacture & supply COVAXIN for India’s vaccine rollout at Rs. 150/ dose, which has been distributed free of cost by GoI.

The other vaccine manufacturer, Serum Institute of India, announces Covishield will be sold at Rs. 400 per dose to state and Rs. 600 per dose to private hospitals.
