Bulli Bai App : No remorse, did the right thing says Neeraj Bishnoi

The IFSO unit of Delhi Police has claimed to have arrested the main accused on the Bulli Bai app page. The accused name was Neeraj Bishnoi, who created this app page on Github along with a Twitter account named @bullibai_ account and was running them. The accused is a student at Vellore Institute and is currently a second-year Computer science student of B.Tech

A team under the leadership of DCP KPS Malhotra and ACP Raman Lamba of the IFSO unit was formed and sent to Assam to nab the accused. This team arrested Reds in Assam and the main accused named Neeraj Bishnoi. According to the DCP of the IFSO Unit, Cyber Cell accused Neeraj Bishnoi was arrested from Jorhat, Assam. During interrogation he admitted that he has no regret for what he did, but did what he did was absolutely right.

Who was kept as the main target by the Bulli Bai app?

Initially, it is revealed that Neeraj was angry with the entire Muslim community. So he used to target women who were very active on social media accounts with Muslim ideology.

Apprehension story of the accused:

The whole matter was started by the complainant filing a complaint at South East Delhi Police. In the complaint, it was mentioned that the photo was posted on the @bullibai_ Twitter handle and elsewhere after which Cyber Cell South East Police registered a case and started an investigation. After that suspension of this Twitter account happened followed by the deletion from the GitHub platform.

The Github account app was developed in November 2021 and later on, was updated in December 2021. Moreover, a Twitter account named @sage0x1 was also formed by him. The culprit was continuously tracking the news going on through social media. To inform the Mumbai police that they have arrested the wrong people he created another Twitter account @giyu44 and tweeted about this. One woman, Shweta from Uttarkhand has also been arrested. Because she made an account and gave it to Neeraj, which is handled by Neeraj now. But there was no direct connection between them. They were communicating through social media

No connection with the Sully deals case :

Any connection of the accused with the Sully Deals case which happened 6 months ago, has not come to the notice. The whole arrest has taken place through technical surveillance as Github and Twitter did not provide any help. Now the accused is under the IFSO unit and later will be sent to police custody for further interrogations. He’s suspended by the university for bringing disrepute.
