CBSE Class 12th results to be declared by the 30:30:40 formula
On Thursday the Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE) officially announced its strategy for class 12th result evaluation. As the government has canceled the 12th board examination due to the dangerous covid-19 wave across the country. So, a midway path has to be found in order to conduct board examination for the students.
The center informed Supreme Court that the CBSE will adopt the 30:30:40 formula for the evaluation of marks . This will be based on the results of class 10, 11 and 12. On the basis of student’s performance in the finals of classes 10 and 11 exams. Also class twelfth pre-board test this will be evaluated. It is predicted that by July 31 the CBSE class 12th result will be announced.
The Attorney General of India KK Venugopal in his statement said “For evaluating a student, his marks in best of three papers for class10th would be given 30%, weightage for class11th 30% and for class 12th weightage is 40%.
The students unsatisfied with this evaluation formula can appear afterward for there board exams. The class 12th board exams will be conducted when the conditions become favorable.
The 12 members committee of experts was formed by the board for preparation of this formula. Hence, for declaration of results and marks of class 12th. The CBSE Controller of Examination Sanyam Bhardwaj said that along with the 12 members in the committee, the joint secretary of the ministry of education and senior IAS officer Vipin Kumar is also included.
