iPhone 14 series September launch event: Here’s how to watch the live stream, price leak

Apple is all set to unveil its upcoming iPhone 14 series at the September 7 event. The company will unveil iPhone 14 series, Apple Watch Series 8, Macbooks, AirPods, and more in its ‘FAR OUT’ event. The tech giant released the invitations for the event.

As per reports, the Mini model will not be included in the lineup this time. It will be replaced by the standard iPhone 14 with a 6.1-inch screen and the iPhone 14 Max with a larger screen (6.7-inch). The series will also have a standard model of the iPhone Pro with a 6.1-inch screen and the iPhone 14 Pro Max with a larger (6.7-inch) screen.

Apple’s ‘Far Out’ event will occur on September 7, 2022, at 10 pm PT and 10:30 pm IST. You can watch the live stream on the official Apple website, YouTube channel, and Apple TV+.

iPhone 14 Expected Price

The tech giant plans to price its entry-level iPhone 14 on par with the iPhone 13 to attract more customers and drive more sales.

Starting with the base iPhone 14, it will cost around $799 in the US, which converts to around 63,200 in India. To recall, the iPhone 13 was launched at Rs 79,990. Hence, we can expect the iPhone 14 to go on sale at the same price.

The iPhone 14 Max is expected to start at $899 (Rs 71,524) for the 128GB base variant.While the 256GB and 512GB will cost $999 (Rs 79,480) and $1199 (Rs 95,393) respectively. Similarly, the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max are likely to start at $1099 (Rs 87,437) and $1199 (Rs 95,393), respectively, for the base 128GB model.

The 256GB iPhone 14 Pro Max is expected to priced at $1199 (Rs 95,393).While the 512GB and 1TB are priced at $1399 (Rs 1,11,305) and $1599 (Rs 1,27,217) respectively.

As per media reports, after the launch of September 7, 2022, the iPhone 14 series can be available for pre-order from September 9, 2022. Additionally, the series will be available for purchase from September 16, 2022.

Specifications Of  iPhone 14

Apple will launch four new models of iPhone 14 at this event. In this, two Pro models and two standard variants will be launched, including iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Max, and iPhone 14 Pro Max. iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will launch with 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch OLED displays with 120Hz promotion refresh rate support. Both these models will also come with an always-on display feature which will run on iOS 16.

On the other hand, the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max will come with a wide notch for the Face ID sensor and a front camera supporting support 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch OLED displays with 60Hz refresh rate. iPhone 14 Max will come with a 4,325mAh battery and iPhone 14 Pro Max with a 4,323mAh battery. At the same time, iPhone 14 Pro is speculated to come with a 3,200mAH battery and iPhone 14 with a 3,279mAH battery. All four models will support 20W fast charging.
