Apple WWDC 2021 : Event Highlights

The WWDC event became live from apple park at exactly 10:30 pm IST. With all the enthusiasm by dancing, acting, and singing by developers presented all the new launches that are going to happen in the event.

Apple’s CEO, Tim Cook, states that around 22 million people across the globe attend the WWDC20 event. Also shares the company’s initiative plan towards the kids coding education. Hence, attempting to conduct coding camps for kids in the future.

macOS Monterey:

• Control screen on different devices with the help of a single mouse. Along with this drag and drop files among the devices
• Share your personal screen on the big screen from airplay to mac
• Introducing pre-built shortcuts for increasing the efficiency of work
• Instant syncing and new tabs design on safari with a redesigned sidebar

Apple WatchOS 8: Specular features

• Health:  Enhanced breathe app with new animation, reflect to help you focus and aid psychological well-being, respiratory rate through sleep monitor feature
• New workout content for Fitness freaks. Along with this fitness plus content containing artist spotlight series
• Redesigned photos app and watch face portrait. Sharing photos with the message, mail, and gif support

iPadOS 15 privacy:

 

• Mail – Mail privacy protection to hide IP address, location

• Safari – Hiding IP address from trackers
• App privacy report – a new setting to view apps’ with access to private details
• Siri – On-device speech recognition to boost performance without compromising on user privacy and device security

 

iPadOS  15 new features:

• New and larger format widgets with wide space and large photo size widgets
• App library available on the dock in iPad
• Split view and shelf for viewing minimized apps. Thus enhancing multitasking
• Instant notes taking ability by supporting @mention, #tags, a quick note
• Learn to code, develop apps and submit on play store by using swift playground
• Auto translation,system-wide translation, live text in iPad with iPadOS 15

Apple IOS 15: live text, spotlight, face time, and photos

Live text: iPhone camera will be able to recognize text written on a photo in iOS 15. Also recognize text, phone numbers links, etc. Furthermore will now understand 7languages on iPhone,iPad, and mac.

Spotlight: now become universal search on iOS and will now support photos

Photos: Apple is improvising the memories features of photos. Thus,  from now onwards apple will suggest music for playing in the background and users can mix match that

Notifications

• Focus: a new focused and dedicated mode. In this only certain apps specific urgent messages will be shown to the user on a set time of the day
• Face Time: Link creation for face time event. Also, android and windows users can join this. Share screen so that you can listen and watch together
• This partial audio coming along with voice isolation and a wide spectrum.
